Top 5 Wedding Moments of 2020

2020 has been a doozy for so many but I’d be lying if I said it was all bad.

I wanted to share with you 5 of my favorite moments from the weddings I was blessed to capture this year. They are in no particular order but every single time I think of these moments, all the feels come pouring in!

Elaine & Marcus’s Reception

First up, Elaine & Marcus’ LIT reception in March of this year at Pristine Chapel in Jonesboro! I’ve shared a few of these images before but every-time I see them, I want to turn up!⠀Check out all the dancing fun and Marcus’ EPIC reaction to retrieving Elaine’s garter at the end!

Haley & Patrick’s First Touch

Up next is the First Touch between Haley & Patrick before their February wedding at Pristine Chapel in Jonesboro!  YA’LL…I just…I MEAN COME ON! These two met before their ceremony to pray and exchange gifts & were so sweet & emotional! He cried, she cried & I had to wipe my eyes. This moment is hands down one of the sweetest moments I’ve captured on a wedding day.

Chris & Natasha’s First Look

My next fave is the First Look between Tash & Chris before their October wedding at Wahoo Grill in Decatur! As you can tell, real love & happy tears just do something to me and this First Look was full of both! To capture this moment, I literally crouched down in the bushes and flowers of the beautiful Cator Woolford Gardens.  Getting dirty at work definitely has it benefits let me tell ya!

Shannon’s Surprise Seranade to Sheronka

Up next is the hilariously sweet, surprise serenade Shannon performed for his gorgeous bride Sheronka.⠀Shannon stole the show & made sure he showed all his love for his new bride by lip-syncing R. Kelly’s, “When A Woman Loves”. With his groomsmen hyping him up from behind, he made sure to create one more beautiful & fun memory for Sheronka!

Sterling & Vanessa’s Mother-Son Dance

This moment that rounds out my countdown is the Mother-Son dance shared by Sterling & his Mother! They started off slow then surprised us all by breaking out into the funniest hip hop dance that notably included c-walking and hand signs as a nod to their California roots.

I hope you guys have enjoyed this countdown as much as I have! Looking ahead to all the weddings that will take place next year has me SO EXCITED! Cheers to 2021! Let’s go get it!
