Tash & Chris’ Wahoo Grill Wedding is certainly one that I have been excited to share for a while.  As an Atlanta Wedding Photographer, I get to photograph weddings in some of the most charming places the city has to offer.  Wahoo Grill is one of those charming places.  Tash & Chris planned their wedding in 30 days in the middle of a global pandemic.  Along with several other 2020 brides & grooms, instead of heading to the courthouse, they opted to “let love win” have a micro wedding instead.

There is one thing to know about Professional Photographers.  In my Erica Badu voice – We are artists, and we are sensitive about our work LOL!  No seriously, it is an EXTREME honor to be hired by another Professional Photographer, especially to capture on of the most important days of their lives.  You can imagine my excitement when they chose me as their Atlanta wedding photographer!

These two love birds actually went to college together.  They are graduates of my Alma Mater, Georgia State University, although I never formally met either of them while we were in school together.  It wasn’t until years after graduation that I finally met Tash at the Photography Conference, Hustle In Heels 2.0.  At the conference, we got a chance to chat and bond over our shared love of photography.  Yes, that’s right, Tash is an AMAZING Family, Newborn & Maternity photographer!  You can check out her work here.  Not only is Tash a Professional Photographer but her now husband Chris is as well.

The Wedding Details

Tash & Chris opted for an intimate, fall inspired brunch wedding. The loved that this venue provided them with an intimate feel much like a backyard wedding while allowing them and their guests to continue social distancing.  With their chosen colors of burgundy, burnt orange, champagne, copper & blush, their garden wedding was everything they dreamed of!  After getting ready, the day began with a beautiful and emotional First Look in Atlanta’s Cator Woolford Gardens.  Cator was the perfect backdrop for their wedding portraits that immediately followed their First Look. I have photographed many couples there and Cator has a magic in the air that is undeniable.

The Freeman’s exchanged vows in Wahoo Grill’s private garden, surrounded by their closest family & friends.  It was a beautifully emotional day and I can wait to share it with you!
